Dive Galapagos: returning to Darwinian origins
“Naturally selected” for its outstanding flora and fauna by the great Darwin himself, Galapagos marine reserve and national park put together will probably have the largest density of various species put together.
Galapagos Giant Land Tortoise, Marine & land Iguanas, Penguins, Albatross, Sea Lions, Mocking Birds, Frigate Birds – all these exotic and faraway names we’ve all read about have one thing in common : GALAPAGOS !
Located off the coast of South America and in the Pacific Ocean, Galapagos is truly off the beaten dive-plan and well worth the efforts to get there. Divers are rewarded with Hammer Head Shark migrations numbering over 3000, swaying and munching marine iguanas’ underwater and an incredible amount of diversity in the fish life downstairs.
